This blog is primarily meant to document my attempt to build a dollhouse.
The kit, a very large dollhouse from Real Good Toys, was marketed out of Vermont several years ago. It is named ‘Thornhill’ and measures 46"L x 28"W x 36"T (1:12 scale). The dollhouse opens on all four sides and contains fourteen rooms, although that may be reduced by one in order to make the entry run entirely front to back.
Do note: the blog will include a number of posts regarding related scale models. For example, a workbench I expect to use during the construction of the dollhouse. And perhaps some of the scale tools I have been gifted over the years and expect will be used in this project as well.
And, there will also likely be posts covering some of my other hobbies and/or work.
There are currently two writers on the site. Myself and my sister-in-law’s husband, Rick, aka ‘koach’.
